As the championships drew to a close last night, the final medal tally for our athletes was 22 Gold, 14 Silver and 3 Bronze, so a total of 39 medals and numerous PB’s. that was 1 medal more than last years total of 38 Medals which was made up of 16 Gold, 15 Silver and 7 Bronze.

A huge well done to all athletes who competed (no matter where  they finished).

Also in line for thanks are the Parents and families who braved the ever changing weather conditions at Lakeside Stadium and also to those Families & parents who completed the Club duty requirements.

As we look forward, we have the Athletics Victoria Shield final on this Saturday for our Mens Open, Womens U16 and Womens U14 teams at Lakeside Stadium this coming Saturday and then of course for those competing it is off to Perth for the National Youth Championships from Tuesday 12th March to Sunday 17th March.
