NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting for Frankston Athletic Club will held on Wednesday 15th April 2015 at 8:00pm At Ballam Park Athletic Track

ALL MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

In line with the current rules that Govern F.A.C., the following positions will be declared vacant at the AGM, and will need to be filled:-

President – (Current Incumbent – Lyn Owen)

Vice President – (Currnt Incumbent  – Danny Maher)

Secretary/Public Officer – (Current Incumbent – Craig McConchie)

Treasurer – (Current Incumbent – Jenny Baird)

additionally the following positions (allowable but not dictated under model rules ) will need to be ratified / filled

General Committee- (currently Chloe Edwards, Mark Thomas, Tom Lindsey & Mike Drury)

Club Registrar – (Current Incumbent – Lyn Owen)

Little Athletics Liaison – (Currently Vacant )

Uniform Steward – (Current Incumbent – Craig McConchie)

Coaches Co-Ordinator(s) – (Current Incumbents – Chloe Edwards, Mark Thomas)

Club History Steward – Currently Vacant

There is no limit to the number of people who make up the general committee in fact the more there are the more beneficial it is for the club.

We would strongly encourage each Coach / Training Group to nominate an attendee for a Committee position ( be it an Athlete or a Parent etc) as after all the Club is about it’s Athletes, so it would be great to have Athlete representation on the committee

There are several other “delegate positions” that will need to be filled from those who make up the committee they are:-

Athletics Victoria Delegate(s) – (Current Incumbents – Lyn Owen, Jenny Baird, Danny Maher, Craig McConchie)

Blue Zone Delegate – (Current Incumbent – Lyn Owen,)

BPAC Delegates – (Current Incumbents – By Virtue of current positions already held on BPAC – Lyn Owen and Craig McConchie)

Should you wish to nominate for a position on committee however are not able to attend the AGM on the 15th April, please advise Craig McConchie (secretary) by 5:00pm (AEST) Wednesday 15th April 2015 either by email to frankstonathletics@hotmail.com or via Mobile phone 0438714618. Those attending the meeting will be able to nominate for a position at the time nominations are called for on the night.

Frankston Little Athletics Centre and Frankston Athletics Club are combining to host the

Athletics Frankston Open Day

A massive day of athletics with events ranging from Discus and Hurdles to Hammer Throw and Steeple. It’s an event not to be missed!

Little Athletics and Seniors competing together on the same day – an opportunity for kids and seniors alike to see each other in action.

The Canteen (open all day), BBQ stall, Slushi and coffee vans will have all your food and drinks covered, so come down for the entire day and enjoy the atmosphere of this supercharged athletics event!

Round 10 of the Athletics Victoria Summer Shield Competition will be held tonight ( 20th February 2014) at the Casey Fields Athletics Track.

Competition starts at 6:30pm and we are running Program 2
